Job Summary
Assistant Manager role with a 5-week manager-training course and performance metrics. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and developing store staff; creating a positive, respectful environment for employees and customers; meeting self-performance metrics and helping staff meet their metrics; analyzing daily sales to maximize revenue; meeting banking, safety, operations, and legal requirements; controlling expenses (labor, inventory, maintenance); assigning and following up on daily tasks to keep the store clean, stocked, and organized; and providing exceptional customer service while resolving issues. Qualifications include supervisory experience, ability to motivate others, physical requirements (standing, bending, walking, lifting 25 lbs), reliable transportation, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
