Job Summary
Assistant Manager to oversee day-to-day salon operations, drive sales toward quotas, and cultivate long-term customer relationships. Responsibilities include labor control, staff hiring and development, achieving daily/weekly/monthly sales targets, consulting customers professionally, increasing traffic via local store marketing, maintaining client billing records, and ensuring a clean, organized salon with proper cash handling and routine administrative tasks. Ideal candidates are outgoing leaders with strong customer-service orientation, who can motivate a team in a commission-driven skincare environment, complete a comprehensive training program for advancement to the Management Team, and demonstrate reliable transportation, flexibility, and a polished professional appearance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- Proven customer service experience
- Two or more years of management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- One or more years of face-to-face sales experience
- Reliable transportation, and flexible availability including nights & weekends
- Friendly competitive drive to meet sales goals
- Polished professional appearance
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and organization
- Ability to stand, bend, walk for 7+ hours per day
