Job Summary
Oversee daily operations at Eyeglass World stores, driving profit and sales goals while monitoring results against budgeted figures. Ensure all associates maintain high customer service standards and manage the "Ready When Promised" same-day service production board. Supervise Optician and Sales Associates, balancing staffing to store volume and assisting with recruiting and retention. Serve as the liaison between store personnel and associated doctors, ensuring promotions, advertising, and visual merchandising are current and understood. Communicate with General Managers, District Managers, and Corporate Office to provide required store reporting. Analyze financial reports and solve problems of varied scope to exceed performance standards.
Required Qualifications
- Optical sales experience
- Proficient computer skills
- Sound understanding of store operations and standards for success
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written) for effective management of teams
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Able to present clear and concise information and respond to questions from managers, associates, and customers
- Strong organizational skills for planning work and continuously monitoring progress towards goals
- Ability to analyze, create, and understand financial reports
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems of varied scope
