Job Summary
Monitor profit, sales, and performance goals by reviewing P&Ls while overseeing the eyeglass department for efficiency and policy compliance. Convey a commitment to outstanding customer service, ensure quality standards are met, and review remakes to enforce compliance. Communicate with General Managers, District Managers, and Corporate Office to provide required store reporting, and ensure promotions, advertising, and visual merchandising are in place. Supervise and motivate Opticians, CL Sales associates, and Receptionists, assisting with staffing forecasts, recruiting, and retaining high-caliber staff. Motivate associates to exceed performance standards. Sundays are closed.
Required Qualifications
- Optical sales experience
- Sound understanding of store operations and standards for success
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written) for effective management of teams
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills for planning work and continuously monitoring progress towards goals
- Ability to analyze, create, and understand financial reports
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems of varied scope
Desired Qualifications
- Supervising experience is preferred
