Assistant Manager - Optical

Job Summary
Oversee daily store operations in the optical department, including personnel management and inventory control, to deliver a positive customer experience and drive profitability. Responsibilities include monitoring profit, sales and performance against goals; optimizing eyeglass department efficiency and policy compliance; supervising optical staff and Receptionists where applicable; reviewing promotions, merchandising, and current advertisements; coordinating reporting with General Manager, District Manager, and Corporate Office; forecasting staffing needs, recruiting, and retaining high-caliber team members; motivating associates to exceed performance standards; and analyzing and solving varied operational and financial problems. Candidates should have optical sales experience, supervisory ability, strong communication, exceptional customer service, solid organizational skills, and the capacity to analyze financial reports to support store success.
