Job Summary
Operate and supervise a theatre, administering all policies and ensuring guest satisfaction while managing employee safety and loss prevention. Manage staff through training, coaching, and scheduling, including interviewing, hiring, and disciplining personnel with oversight. Handle daily financial tasks by counting, depositing, and reconciling all receipts, and control costs by purchasing inventory and auditing supplies. Maintain projection and audio-visual equipment, perform minor repairs, and oversee theatre maintenance. Schedule movie show times and deliver them to proper channels, ensuring compliance with dress codes and alcohol certification requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (if not currently a high school student)
- At least three months supervisory experience
- 6 months theatre experience with completion of Cast Certification Program
- A combination of supervisory and theatre experience
- Showing potential leadership and/or management skills to theatre management (subject to VP approval)
- Legal age to sell and serve alcohol according to state or local laws (if assigned duties include selling/serving alcohol)
- Completion of Regal Responsible Beverage Server training on Regal Online University (if assigned duties include selling/serving alcohol)
- Good public speaking skills
- Ability to effectively communicate in both oral and written form with employees, vendors, corporate staff, etc.
- Ability to listen effectively, respond clearly and directly, and explain information to others
- Ability to perform calculations with speed and accuracy, and identify and correct errors
- Ability to identify problems, gather relevant data, and note possible causes of problems

- Ability to supervise theatre maintenance (building and grounds, where applicable), including performing minor repairs and obtaining qualified personnel for large maintenance concerns
- Ability to market and promote feature film engagements
- Ability to schedule movie show times and deliver show times to all proper channels
- Ability to interview, hire, schedule, coaching, counseling, suspending of any cast member, with oversight from the General Manager or senior management of the facility, and after conferring with the Human Resources Manager, terminating of any employee
- Ability to properly administrate all applicable paperwork and uphold all company policies as they pertain to Human Resources
