Job Summary
Oversee the day-to-day operation of a parking facility by scheduling Parking Attendants and Custodial Maintenance personnel to meet staffing and demand requirements. Conduct scheduled and no-notice inspections to ensure safety, security, and proper upkeep, while monitoring employee performance and providing necessary training and counseling. Manage facility revenue equipment, prepare daily, monthly, and annual reports, and handle cash deposits and customer complaints. Coordinate maintenance, security, and daily operational needs, ensuring accurate record-keeping and inventory levels. Perform Parking Attendant duties as needed to cover breaks or shortfalls.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of and demonstrated ability in the accurate use of simple arithmetic.
- Ability to direct the work of others.
- Ability to make change accurately and quickly.
- Ability to provide routine information in a clear manner.
- Ability to keep records and make reports pertaining to facility revenue and expense performance.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the general public.
- Ability to operate all equipment utilized by Parking Attendants (Calculators, cash registers).
- Ability to lift and move weights of 15 pounds or more.
- Computer Literate.
- Ability to respond to customer complaints and inquiries.
- Ability to monitor facility's budget and report shortfall or overages to superiors.
- Ability to perform duties of Parking Attendants as needed to cover lunch, breaks, etc.
- Ability to perform other duties as required or assigned.
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
