Job Summary
Assistant Manager at Oasis Stop ’N Go is a store manager in training who will learn the duties of the store manager under supervision and support daily operations, filling in for the store manager when needed. Responsibilities include delivering excellent customer service, managing cash deposits, stocking and merchandising, coordinating with vendors, maintaining cleanliness and safety, communicating with team members, attending meetings, and assisting in coaching other employees. The role may involve rotating shifts and working extra hours in emergencies and requires basic computer use and ability to operate the Passport cash register.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 19 years of age to sell alcohol.
- Minimum 3 months experience in customer service associate role or equivalent retail.
- Background check.
- Strong oral and written communication.
- Able to solve problems in sometimes challenging circumstances.
- Computer experience preferred.
- Occasionally requires lifting and moving up to 50 pounds. Frequently requires lifting and moving up to 25 pounds.
- Must be in physically good shape and able to stand during the entire work shift.
- Able to operate Passport cash register and count change to customers.
