Assistant Manager, Nursing Services-RN - Main Comp Med Medical Stepdown - FullTime - Nights

Collaborate with the Clinical Manager to develop PI Plan initiatives, manage personnel, and allocate resources for efficient, safe, and compassionate nursing care. Provide feedback, counseling, and performance evaluations for assigned staff while ensuring they maintain necessary competencies and achieve unit goals. Ensure personnel work hours meet unit needs, participate in regular leadership meetings, and advocate for patients and families. Evaluate unit operations, collaborate with physicians to facilitate daily patient throughput, and inform management of serious patient or visitor issues. Balance patient needs with cost effectiveness, identify required resources, and support staff in pursuing additional education and certifications. Maintain visibility on the unit, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and participate in councils, task forces, and special projects as assigned.
