Job Summary
Assistant Manager at Burger King Leander, TX leads restaurant operations under the RGM, driving profitability, guest service, people development and efficient service. Directly supervises Hourly Shift Coordinators and Team Members (20-45 employees), manages inventory and asset maintenance, enforces cash control and security procedures, coaches staff to improve performance, and ensures adherence to brand standards and speed-of-service guidelines. Requires 18+, HS Diploma or GED (2 years college preferred), 1-2 years of quick-service management experience, understanding of P&L, strong leadership and guest-service skills; availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays; may perform duties of Shift Coordinator as needed, and reports to the Restaurant General Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- High School Diploma or GED required, 2 years of college preferred
- 1-2 years of previous quick service restaurant experience, experience in management preferred
- Some understanding of P&L interpretation and management to influence profitability
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Demonstrated understanding of guest service principles
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed
