Assistant Manager-Night Stock

Job Summary
Oversee the Night Stock department at Hy-Vee, supervising the night stock crew and ensuring trucks are unloaded, merchandise stocked, and stored properly. Maintain department standards for customer service, cleanliness, sanitation, professionalism, and profitability. Duties include scheduling, training new employees, coordinating orders and pre-orders with multiple departments, monitoring RPM system and inventory, directing tasks to part-time staff, and maintaining safe working conditions while delivering friendly, efficient service to customers.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three to five years of similar or related work experience
- Supervisory experience or ability to supervise night stock crew
- Ability to train new employees in various tasks
- Ability to solve arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages
- Ability to read and interpret instructions and manuals
