Job Summary
General Manager in Training at Hand & Stone Spa in Newark leading front desk operations, coaching the team on sales conversion, memberupsell, guest experience, and ensuring operational excellence. Responsibilities include driving membership, retail, gift card, and service sales goals; coaching on call handling and booking conversion; owning front desk performance and guest flow; training and developing front desk staff; supporting reporting, cash handling, and systems; and stepping in to maintain daily momentum. Requirements include 1–3 years of leadership experience, strong sales/customer service background, ability to lead and coach, and excellent communication. Compensation package combines hourly pay with uncapped commissions and performance bonuses, benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401k with company match, PTO, and discounts.
