Assistant Manager - NEW STORE - J.Crew Factory

As an Assistant Manager at J.Crew Factory, you’ll be part of the leadership team driving profitability through genuine customer connections, brand loyalty, and community engagement. You’ll provide coaching to the sales team, collaborate with the Store Director and Associate Store Manager to adapt strategies, and oversee designated divisions (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling). Responsibilities include managing store operations and systems, assisting with recruiting/training, fostering a collaborative work environment, ensuring top-tier customer service, leading product-knowledge sessions, and innovating ways to engage the community—plus stepping into various sales-floor roles as needed. The role requires 1-2 years of retail management experience, passion for the brand and customers, teamwork, adaptability, problem-solving, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays; physical duties include bending, reaching, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
