Job Summary
Assistant Manager responsible for the daily operations of Moe’s Southwest Grill, overseeing the development and performance of shift leaders and team members, ensuring 100% guest satisfaction, and optimizing profits using Sterling Systems. Duties include managing all restaurant operations, staff planning and interviews, enforcing food safety and cleanliness, maintaining health inspection scores, training and evaluating personnel, ensuring 50-pound lifting capability, coordinating food flow from ordering to service, and upholding Moe’s/Sterling standards. Requires ServSafe certification, Moe’s Manager certification, strong leadership, customer-focused service, and the ability to manage 15–25 team members; weekly hours around 50 with occasional variation.
Required Qualifications
- College degree preferred but not required
- Previous restaurant experience is a must
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must be eligible to work in The United States
- Must agree to a background check
