Job Summary
Support the Store Manager in driving sales growth, achieving revenue targets, and maximizing profitability. Assist in providing guidance and coaching to the store team, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Collaborate on recruiting, hiring, training, and developing a high-performing store team while implementing strategies to enhance customer service and build loyalty. Maintain accurate inventory records, oversee inventory management processes, and place orders to meet demand. Support visual merchandising efforts, analyze sales data, and control operational costs to meet budgetary goals. Foster compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and labor laws to ensure a secure environment. Address customer concerns, resolve issues, and contribute to store cleanliness and organization. Stay informed about industry trends and execute marketing initiatives to support business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a retail environment
- Must have a people first mentality
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Desired Qualifications
- Some college coursework or a degree in Business Administration or a related field is a plus
- Previous experience in a Managership or supervisory role
- Strong Managership skills with the ability to work collaboratively and motivate a diverse team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with customers, employees, and stakeholders
- Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service and creating positive shopping experiences
- Understanding of retail operations, inventory management, and visual merchandising principles
- Proficiency in using computer systems, point-of-sale (POS) software, and other retail-related tools
- Knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
