Job Summary
Support the Store Manager in driving sales growth, achieving revenue targets, and maximizing profitability. Assist in providing guidance and coaching to the store team, fostering a positive work environment, and collaborate on recruiting, hiring, and training staff. Help maintain accurate inventory records, oversee inventory management processes, and support visual merchandising efforts to ensure compliance with standards. Assist in analyzing sales data, monitoring key performance indicators, and take proactive measures to address sales trends. Control operational costs, including labor expenses and supplies, while fostering compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Address customer concerns, resolve issues, and contribute to store cleanliness and organization. Stay informed about industry trends and consumer preferences to support business strategies and execute marketing initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a retail environment
- Must have a people first mentality
- Must be able to stand
- Must be able to verbally communicate
- Must be able to hear
- Must be able to use hands to prepare orders or display product inventory
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to sit
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
- Must be able to use a mop/bucket system to maintain floors
- Must be able to use material handling equipment to move items
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Desired Qualifications
- Some college coursework or a degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Previous experience in a Managership or supervisory role
- Strong Managership skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer-centric mindset
- Understanding of retail operations, inventory management, and visual merchandising principles
- Proficiency in using computer systems, point-of-sale (POS) software, and other retail-related tools
- Knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
