Job Summary
Assist in managing daily operations of the Meat Department, report to the Meat Department Manager, and coach staff to provide superior cuts of meat and outstanding customer service. Contribute to training and staff development, apply health and safety policies, and support department leadership in achieving store objectives. Availability to work days, evenings, and weekends is expected. Strong communication and organizational skills, plus a commitment to delivering knowledgeable guidance and high-quality products to customers.
Required Qualifications
- Previous meat retail experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Thorough understanding of Health and Safety legislation, policies and practices is an asset
- Post-secondary certification is an asset
