Assistant Manager

Delegate tasks to restaurant staff, supervise performance, and arrange shift coverage when employees take time off. Maintain fully-stocked inventory, order food supplies, and coordinate with suppliers for deliveries. Track daily costs and revenues, balance the cash drawer, and ensure client satisfaction by resolving on-the-job challenges and handling complaints. Open or close the restaurant, inform the next Shift Manager of pending tasks, and report maintenance and training needs. Adhere to sanitation and safety policies to protect the establishment and guests.
