Assistant Manager

As an Assistant Manager, you’ll join the leadership team to drive store profitability through genuine customer connections, brand loyalty, and community engagement. You’ll coach the sales team to maximize performance, support recruiting and training when needed, and collaborate with the leadership team to ensure smooth operations across Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, and Service & Selling. You’ll lead product knowledge sessions to elevate customer connections, engage the community through events, and step into various sales floor roles as needed. The role requires 1-2 years of retail management experience, a passion for the brand, teamwork and flexibility, and strong problem-solving skills; scheduling flexibility including nights, weekends, and holidays is expected. You must be able to bend, reach, and lift at least 40 pounds. The position is based in Bozeman, MT (J.Crew/J.Crew Factory/Madewell environment) with a focus on delivering best-in-class service, coaching, and operational excellence.
