Job Summary

Operate Louie Oliver's restaurant by conducting pre-shift meetings, managing daily schedules, and controlling labor costs to maximize profitability. Supervise staff through hiring, training, and coaching while resolving guest complaints and de-escalating conflicts. Maintain health, safety, and sanitary standards by inspecting facilities, tasting foods, and enforcing union compliance. Analyze operations to drive cost-effective running and ensure superior guest service aligned with company values. Work a varied schedule including holidays, nights, and weekends, with ability to perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 4-years' related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience with at least 2-years of supervisory experience within Food & Beverage
  • Excellent communication, team-building and problem-solving skills
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Ability to read and understand documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Ability to speak effectively before large or small groups
  • Strong industry problem solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook
  • Proficient in reading and analyzing P&L statements and financial reports
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong self-motivation and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrates initiative and accountability in completing assignments
  • Able to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and productivity
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to supervise day-to-day restaurant operations

  • Must be able to work a varied schedule including holidays, nights and weekends as needed

  • Must have manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment, including PC computers, fax machine and photocopier
  • Must be able to work in areas containing secondhand smoke, dust, loud noises and bright lights

Desired Qualifications

  • Preference is given to qualified Buena Vista Me-Wuk tribal members and members of other federally recognized tribes
