Job Summary
Develop and maintain relations with vendors, stores, and independent contractors while overseeing Customer Service Representatives and Routers. Dispatch trucks using GPS technology and ensure follow-up on shipping discrepancies, damaged goods, and in-home delivery claims. Directly supervise hourly staff handling day-to-day operations in data entry, order processing, and delivery, including training, assigning work, and resolving complaints. Maintain monthly operating reports with statistics and customer service scores. This role requires excellent attendance and punctuality, with a flexible work schedule when possible. Based in Norton, MA, the position supports Maersk Ground Freight's integrated logistics network connecting global trade facilities.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain or Related Field
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in a Supervisor role including performance reviews of direct reports
- Flexible work schedule
- Must be Self-Motivated to work with little supervision
- Excellent Attendance record
- Positive Attitude and ability to work with others
- Good Communication Skills
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Good time management skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attendance and Punctuality are essential functions of the job
