Job Summary
Assistant Manager at Twin Peaks in Myrtle Beach, SC, responsible for assisting in daily store operations, coaching and supervising staff, interviewing and recruiting, cash handling, inventory and cost controls, training, ensuring policy compliance, maintaining hospitality standards, and driving sales while coordinating with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager to develop team members and ensure excellent guest experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Substantial leadership experience in high-volume restaurants and/or bars
- Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out multi-step instructions; handle quickly changing situations with many variables
- Ability to interview, warn, counsel, hire and fire employees and ensure proper documentation with supervisory oversight
- Cash handling procedures proficiency
- Desire for development toward AGM level; proactive recruitment
- Ability to enforce safety, sanitation and alcohol service standards; maintain training programs
- Knowledge of PNL/COGs/Bar, Food and Labor cost controls; ability to analyze and act on reports
- Certifications: ServSafe Food Manager and ServSafe Alcohol (or ability to obtain)
- Attend orientation and complete Twin Peaks Assistant Manager training prior to shifts unsupervised; complete all required local/state trainings related to food/alcohol service
- Must maintain professional appearance and conduct; uphold brand standards and policies
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; Spanish helpful
- Must ensure compliance with state food and alcohol certification requirements
- Ability to manage schedules, staffing levels, and supervision of full restaurant staff
- Maintain asset protection and security; ensure policy adherence and documentation
- Physical ability to perform duties in a restaurant environment and handle typical restaurant operations
