Assistant Manager

Assist Manager in pattern and casting development as per requirements; coordinate with foundries for pattern layout; develop patterns and ensure first sample approval; release trial orders, procure samples and obtain approval; responsible for subcontract commercial rate finalization and negotiate/finalize prices of new items or price adjustments; monitor supplier adherence to schedules and take corrective actions; identify and develop new sources for machining; identify cost/quality/delivery improvement opportunities to reduce cost and improve delivery and efficiency.
