Job Summary
The Assistant Manager will carry out final inspections of valves per QAP, Drawing, PO, and Technical Specifications at supplier end. Responsibilities include conducting visual inspections, dimensional inspections, hydro test witness, and document verification. The role requires coordination with customers and third-party inspection agencies, analysis of quality issues, and corrective action, while ensuring awareness of standard requirements like ASTM/API/MSS-SP. Candidates must hold an NDT Level II certificate and possess working knowledge of SAP QM. Travel to various manufacturing sites is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Final inspection of valves as per QAP, Drawing, PO, Technical Specification
- Visual Inspection, Dimensional Inspection, Hydro test witness
- Document verification as per QAP, Drawing, PO, Technical specification
- Coordination with customer / Third party Inspection agency
- Quality issues / Problem analysis and corrective action
- Willing to travel to out station place of traded valves manufacture
Desired Qualifications
- NDT Level II certificate in RT / UT / MP/ LPT / VT
- Working knowledge in SAP QM module
- Standard requirements awareness of ASTM/API/MSS-SP
