Job Summary
The Assistant Manager role supports a best-in-class customer experience in a Hawaii store under the General Manager, leading a sales team (Sales Supervisors and Associates) to drive customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include providing product knowledge and brand education, completing transactions at the register, delivering feedback on individual and team performance, acting as liaison with HQ when appropriate, overseeing opening/closing procedures, assisting with inventory counts and visual merchandising, and ensuring brand and company standards are consistently met. Requires open/flexible availability including evenings, weekends, holidays, and the ability to work on-site. Strong leadership, communication, multitasking, and operational skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, and POS systems.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of leadership experience in a customer-facing role
- 3+ years of retail/apparel operations experience
- 2+ years leading a team of Supervisors
- Experience in a commission-based environment is a plus
