Job Summary
Assist in the management of daily kitchen utility operations including dish room operations, night cleaning, back dock cleaning and maintenance, and banquet plating/food running. Lead and develop kitchen staff, schedule events and activities, monitor materials and inventories, enforce sanitation and safety standards, manage equipment and loss prevention, and support budgetary and performance goals. Roles include guiding subordinates, recruiting and training employees, providing feedback, and ensuring guest satisfaction through high-quality service and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 years experience in the procurement, food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
- 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 1 year experience in the procurement, food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
