Job Summary
Support the General Manager in building the Kitchen team's succession plan and leading daily shift operations. Drive team development through 1:1s, coaching, and training while modeling Pret's values to foster an inclusive culture. Maintain exceptional food quality, safety, and hygiene standards, managing stock, ordering, and waste to ensure productivity and profitability. Collaborate with Front of House to deliver great customer experiences and support recruitment and legal compliance. Assist in developing future leaders within a fast-paced environment focused on freshly made food and organic coffee.
Required Qualifications
- Previous management experience in hospitality, food production, catering, or another fast-paced food-focused environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene and operational standards
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Confidence leading busy shifts and making decisions under pressure
- The ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment
- A commitment to delivering exceptional quality and consistency
- A desire to build a long-term career and develop future leaders
