Job Summary
The Assistant Manager will supervise and/or perform front line set-up, back line set-up, catering prep, and to-go set up, and will oversee shifts including catering/delivery coordinator, order taker, cashier, sandwich maker, swing and delivery driver. Responsibilities include hiring, training, disciplining day and night staff, and ensuring overall effectiveness of their area within the operation. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least 6 months of work experience, 18+ years old, ability to direct staff, strong discretion, good English communication, basic math proficiency, and the capacity to stand for up to six hours and lift up to 30 pounds. Health and dress-code compliance per city regulations and company policies are required.
Required Qualifications
- Education: high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience: at least 6 months work experience
- Age: 18 or over
- Must be able to direct a staff and exercise sound discretion
- Must be able to memorize basic job routines
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English effectively
- Must be able to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Must be able to count change accurately
- Must be able to handle, organize and balance money and credit card charge slips
- Health: must comply with health regulations and dress code policies
