Job Summary
IT Assistant Manager responsible for SAP S/4HANA governance, strategy, and design oversight across FI/CO, MM, SD, and HCM. Acts as Scoot’s single SAP authority, governs solution design and changes by external vendors, defines the SAP roadmap, and ensures regulatory compliance and operational resilience. Manages SAP system integrators/MSPs, oversees change control, security, audits, and data protection, and partners with Finance, Operations, HR, and other teams to align SAP direction with business needs. Prior experience leading SAP initiatives with external providers and a strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture are required; aviation/travel industry experience is advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Minimum 8 years of IT experience, with at least 3 years owning or managing SAP systems
- Proven experience leading SAP initiatives delivered through external system integrators or managed services providers
- Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture, capabilities, and governance considerations
- Solid knowledge of SAP ERP functional areas such as FI/CO, MM, SD, and HCM, from a design and oversight perspective
- Ability to govern SAP design and configuration without performing hands-on system changes
- Demonstrated experience in vendor management, IT governance, and enterprise change control
- Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and decision-making skills
