Assistant Manager, IT Operation

Job Summary
Manage and support the end-user computing environment across Windows, Mac, and cloud platforms including Microsoft 365 and Azure. Oversee outsourced IT service providers to ensure SLA compliance, operational performance, and continuous improvement while guiding support teams in delivering timely service. Administer procurement proposals, technical documents, and implementation plans for management review. Coordinate workplace collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and Intune, and lead incident, problem, change, and service request management processes. Proactively identify and prevent potential issues through performance monitoring and solution evaluations. Work closely with business users to understand operational requirements and develop practical IT solutions.
Required Qualifications
- recognised university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
- at least 5 years of experience in the IT industry with focus on IT operation support
- hands-on experience in supervising or managing team members, contractors or service providers
- ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- business-minded approach with strong analytical, business writing and documentation skills
- knowledge of IT service management frameworks
- proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese
Desired Qualifications
- experience in administering and supporting Windows, Mac, M365, Directory Services
- familiar with the latest workplace technologies of cloud computing, virtualization, and mobile device management
- ITIL certification
- certification of Microsoft 365 Administrator
