Job Summary
Provide tax compliance and advisory services to partnerships and/or corporations for a variety of clients from Fortune 100 companies to emerging businesses; manage a portfolio of clients and act as the point of contact for internal and external clients; manage, counsel and train teams of tax professionals; collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality tax service, compliance processes, and technology design; stay current with tax practices and participate in technology/process development; participate in business development and additional compliance pursuits; manage risk and financial performance of engagements including project budgets and metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or MBA finance from reputable universities
- EA/CPA certification required
- Minimum 7 years of relevant tax compliance experience in an accounting firm, corporation, and/or law firm
- Experience with taxation of relevant service lines (partnerships, corporations, consolidations and ASC 740)
- Demonstrated quality service mindset, strong technical aptitude, critical thinking skills and experience with MS Office applications and third-party tax reporting software programs
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong project management skills to guide team in meeting deliverables
- Certification in taxation preferred (e.g., CPA, EA)
- State and Local Tax knowledge: multis jurisdictional, income franchise and indirect tax concepts
