Job Summary
Oversee in-room dining operations and guest satisfaction by managing order taking, delivery, and menu descriptions while acting as a liaison between servers, guests, and the kitchen. Conduct daily oversight of morning, evening, and overnight shifts, including table dressing, shift staffing, and floor presence to greet guests and resolve feedback. Prepare shift schedules based on occupancy, monitor the POS system for reports, and maintain inventory of equipment and supplies. Ensure compliance with Fairmont standards and regulations while completing menu knowledge and assisting in other F&B outlets when needed. Assume additional responsibilities during the Restaurant Manager's absence.
Required Qualifications
- Assistant Food & Beverage Manager/Supervisory role preferably in a 5 star/diamond environment
- Clear & concise written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, namely Word and Excel
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of food and beverage, preparation techniques, health department rules and regulations, liquor laws and regulations
- Excellent customer service skills
