Job Summary
Assistant Manager II role overseeing store staff through a 5-week manager-training program. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and developing employees; creating a positive environment for staff and customers; meeting self-performance metrics and helping employees meet theirs; analyzing daily sales information to maximize sales; ensuring banking, safety, operations, and legal requirements are met; controlling expenses (labor, inventory, maintenance); assigning and following up on daily tasks to keep the store clean, stocked, and organized; delivering exceptional customer service and resolving customer issues. Qualifications emphasize being at least 18, having a year of supervisory experience, strong motivational abilities, physical stamina (standing, bending, walking for long periods, lifting up to 25 pounds), reliable transportation, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
