Assistant Manager II

Assistant Manager II role with Palm Beach Tan in Sterling, VA. Responsible for recruiting and developing store staff, creating a positive environment for employees and customers, meeting self-imposed performance metrics and helping others reach theirs, analyzing daily sales to maximize revenue, ensuring banking, safety, operations and legal requirements are met, controlling expenses (labor, inventory, maintenance), assigning and following up on daily tasks to keep the store clean, stocked, and organized, and delivering exceptional customer service while resolving issues. The position includes a required 5-week manager-training course with performance metrics and offers benefits including health, dental, vision, paid time off, employee discounts, and opportunities for advancement. Starting pay is $15.00 per hour plus commission. Minimum qualifications include 18+ years old, 1 year of supervisory experience, ability to motivate others, ability to stand/bend/walk for long periods, ability to lift 25 pounds, reliable transportation, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
