Job Summary
Assistant Manager II with a 5-week manager-training course and performance metrics. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and developing store staff; creating a positive, respectful environment for employees and customers; meeting self-performance metrics and helping employees meet theirs; analyzing daily sales to maximize revenue; ensuring banking, safety, operations and legal requirements are met; controlling expenses (labor, inventory, maintenance); assigning and following up on daily tasks to keep the store clean, stocked, and organized; delivering exceptional customer service and resolving customer issues.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 18 years of age or older
- 1 year of supervisory experience
- Ability to effectively motivate others
- Must be able to stand, bend, walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance
- Reliable transportation
