Assistant Manager II

Manage all phases of the store operation to ensure an optimum shopping environment, assisting the Store Manager and Assistant Manager I in daily duties. Participate in developing plans to meet sales goals and supervise merchandise arrangement, visual displays, and space allocation within your assigned area of responsibility. Supervise employees, act as manager on duty during senior leadership absences, and ensure friendly customer service while supporting Goodwill's mission to employ persons with barriers to employment. Verify merchandise quantity and quality, adjust pricing according to guidelines, and maintain security of cash and receipts by traveling to the bank for deposits. Control inventory loss from errors, shrinkage, and shoplifting, and address facility maintenance and after-hours emergencies. Perform opening and closing procedures, handle cash register transactions, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Maintain First Aid and CPR certifications, attend in-service training, and enforce safety policies. This full-time management position requires two years of retail apparel management and supervisory experience, a valid driver's license, and a clean background check.
