Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager role focused on store operations, customer service, and team development. Responsibilities include assisting with daily store activities, guiding customers, organizing merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor, opening/closing procedures, processing corporate directives, maintaining promotional fixtures and displays, ordering and inventory-related tasks, payroll and scheduling, loss prevention, ensuring store areas meet company standards, safeguarding assets, enforcing policies and safety guidelines, supervising and developing store associates, and maintaining a positive, safe, and professional environment for customers and staff.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
- Exceptional customer service, organizational, and problem solving/decision-making skills
