Job Summary
Assist with store operations, customer service, and team development. Help supervise and develop Store Associates; organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor; perform opening and closing procedures; process corporate directives and communicate store activities. Maintain promotional effectiveness of storefront fixtures and displays; assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll/scheduling, and cash deposits/receipts. Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and stockroom; protect company assets including cash; adhere to safety policies and procedures; foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders. Additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
- Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives (e.g., merchandise schematics) is required
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required
