Job Summary
Assist Store Manager with store operations, customer service, and team development. Responsibilities include supervising and developing Store Associates, organizing and transferring merchandise between delivery and sales areas, maintaining seasonal display areas, and performing opening/closing procedures. Manage payroll, scheduling, and cash handling processes, assist with ordering and processing merchandise, and maintain loss prevention and store cleanliness. Ensure promotional effectiveness of fixtures and displays, adhere to safety guidelines, and uphold company policies while delivering exceptional customer service in a high-energy retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required
- Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required
