Job Summary
Assist Store Manager with store operations, customer service, and team development. Responsibilities include helping organize daily store activities, assisting customers, moving merchandise between delivery, stockroom, and sales floor, executing opening and closing procedures, processing corporate directives, maintaining promotional displays, assisting in ordering and handling damaged merchandise, payroll and scheduling records, cash handling, and loss prevention. Maintain clean and well-organized sales floor and stockroom, protect company assets, adhere to safety policies, and supervise/train Store Associates to ensure a positive, safe, and professional environment. Additional duties as assigned. Requires ability to lift up to 55 lbs, strong communication skills, and experience in retail management; education preferred is a high school diploma or equivalent. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required
- Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives (e.g., merchandise schematics) is required
