Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. Responsibilities include assisting with day-to-day store activities, helping customers, organizing merchandise transfer from delivery to stockroom and sales floor, performing opening/closing procedures, processing directives, maintaining promotional displays, assisting in ordering and loss prevention, payroll/scheduling record keeping, inventory management, ensuring store cleanliness, safeguarding assets, adhering to policies, and helping the Store Manager train and develop Store Associates. Requires high school diploma or equivalent preferred, store-management experience in retail/grocery/drug store environments, ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and strong verbal/written communication and customer-service skills.
