Job Summary
Assist Store Manager in day-to-day store operations including customer service, merchandising, inventory transfer from delivery to floor, opening/closing procedures, payroll/scheduling records, loss prevention, and staff development. Key duties include maintaining promotional displays, processing merchandise, ensuring store cleanliness and safety, handling cash deposits and receipts, and supporting training and supervision of Store Associates while delivering a positive, professional customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
- Customer service experience
- Cash handling and basic financial procedures
- Open to performing opening/closing duties
- Stockroom and merchandising responsibilities
- Payroll, scheduling, and record-keeping experience
- Compliance with company policies and safety guidelines
- Equality and ADA compliance awareness
