Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. Responsibilities include assisting with daily store activities, helping customers, organizing merchandise transfer from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor, performing opening and closing procedures, processing corporate directives, maintaining promotional displays, assisting in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll and scheduling records, and loss prevention. Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom, ensure store assets are protected, adhere to policies and safety guidelines, supervise and develop Store Associates, and foster a positive, safe, and professional environment. Physical duties include cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping/mopping, trash removal, and other duties as assigned. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred), store management experience in retail/grocery/drug store environment (preferred), ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a high-energy team setting.
