Job Summary
Assist with store operations, customer service and team development. Responsibilities include aiding with day-to-day store activities, helping customers with questions, organizing and transferring merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor, and maintaining seasonal areas. Perform opening and closing procedures, process corporate directives, maintain promotional fixtures and displays, assist in ordering merchandise, handling damaged goods, payroll/scheduling/receipts, and loss prevention. Support Store Manager by training and developing Store Associates, ensuring a positive, safe, and professional environment, maintaining store cleanliness and organization, and complying with company policies. Requires high school diploma or equivalent (preferred), store-management experience in retail/grocery/drug store (preferred), ability to lift up to 55 lbs, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a high-energy team setting. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives
- Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
- Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
