Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager responsibilities include assisting the Store Manager with store operations, customer service, and team development. duties include aiding with opening/closing, processing directives, organizing merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor, maintaining promotional fixtures and displays, assisting in ordering, payroll and scheduling, and loss prevention. The role requires strong communication skills, capability to lift up to 55 lbs, and the ability to work in a high-energy team environment while ensuring safety and adherence to company policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required
- Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required
