Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager role focused on supporting store operations, customer service, and team development. Responsibilities include assisting with day-to-day store activities, helping customers, organizing and transferring merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor, executing opening/closing procedures, processing corporate directives, maintaining promotional displays, assisting in ordering and inventory controls, payroll/scheduling record-keeping, ensuring loss prevention, keeping areas clean and well-stocked, protecting assets, adhering to company policies and safety guidelines, and supervising/training store associates to maintain a positive, safe, and professional environment. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred) and store-management experience in retail/grocery/drug store settings; physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs; strong communication and problem-solving skills; ability to thrive in a high-energy team setting; compensation and benefits include health, retirement, education assistance, and additional perks. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, walking, kneeling, etc.)
