Job Summary
Assist Store Manager with store operations, customer service, and team development; supervise and train Store Associates; manage merchandising, opening/closing procedures, payroll and scheduling, and loss prevention; ensure store area cleanliness and presentation; maintain promotional displays and fixtures; process receipts and deposits; ensure safety compliance and policy adherence; provide a positive, professional customer experience and support leadership in daily store activities. This role emphasizes hands-on store functions, teamwork, communication, and operational execution in a retail/grocery/drug-store environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives (e.g., merchandise schematics)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
