Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager role focusing on store operations, customer service, and team development. Responsibilities include assisting with daily store activities, helping customers, organizing and transferring merchandise, opening/closing procedures, processing directives and communications, maintaining promotional displays, assisting with ordering and inventory tasks, payroll and scheduling records, loss prevention, maintaining a clean and presentable store, and supervising/training store associates to ensure a positive, safe, and professional environment. Requires strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills and the ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
