Job Summary
Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities, including opening and closing procedures, processing corporate directives, and maintaining promotional effectiveness of fixtures and displays. Help customers in a positive manner, address their questions, and ensure a safe, respectful environment while protecting company assets like store cash. Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery trucks to the stockroom and sales floor, maintaining seasonal areas and a well-stocked floor to company standards. Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, restocking bathrooms, and taking out trash to keep all areas neat. Assist the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing Store Associates, and manage record keeping including payroll, scheduling, and cash register deposits. Adhere to safety guidelines and policies, ensuring all associates follow company procedures. Full-time position at 304 E Government St, Brandon, Mississippi.
Required Qualifications

- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
- Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting

- Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment
