Job Summary
Assist Store Manager with store operations, customer service and team development. Responsibilities include helping with day-to-day store activities, addressing customer questions, organizing and transferring merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor, executing opening and closing procedures, processing corporate directives, maintaining promotional displays and store fixtures, assisting in ordering, processing damaged merchandise, record-keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash handling, deposits), loss prevention, keeping the store clean and presentable, supervising and developing Store Associates, and ensuring a positive, safe environment with professional interactions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
